Draftsnake (“we,” “us”) is a fantasy-football assistant. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short and we keep data collection to a minimum.

What we collect

Account email — when you create a Draftsnake account.
Platform accounts and leagues you connect — a Sleeper username or league ID you enter so we can read your league data; for ESPN, the session cookies you supply through the browser extension so we can read your ESPN league on your behalf. This is read-only; we never ask for your platform password.
League and roster data — read from the platforms you connect, to run your draft, lineup, trade, and waiver reads.
Saved preferences — settings you choose in the app, so they persist across visits.
Push notification subscription — if you turn on alerts, the browser push endpoint needed to deliver them. Off by default.
Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. Draftsnake never sees or stores your card number.
Basic usage data — product analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand what's working. No tracking ads.

How we use it

To run the product and show you your draft, lineup, trade, and waiver reads.
To email you about your account and product updates. You can unsubscribe anytime.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We don't collect your fantasy-platform passwords. We share data only with the service providers needed to run Draftsnake (e.g. hosting and email delivery).

The browser extension

The Draftsnake Connector browser extension connects the Draftsnake app to your Sleeper and ESPN tabs: it carries out moves you choose in Draftsnake (draft picks, lineup swaps, staged waiver claims, staged trade offers) and connects your ESPN account. Here is everything it does with data:

ESPN sign-in cookies, only when you connect ESPN. When you press Connect ESPN, the extension reads two cookies from your signed-in espn.com session (espn_s2 and SWID) and hands them to your open Draftsnake tab, which sends them to our server. ESPN has no other way to let an app read a private league. We store them on our server with your account and use them only to read the ESPN leagues you're in. They are never shown back to you or anyone else. The extension itself keeps no copy.
What it reads on Sleeper and ESPN pages. In tabs you already have open on those sites, it reads what a feature needs: the board and picks in a draft room you're in, and your own pending waiver claims and trade offers on your Sleeper team page. It passes that to your Draftsnake tab. It doesn't read your password or log in for you.
Settings stay in your browser. Your automation preferences are saved in the browser's extension storage on your own device (synced by your browser if you sign into it).
No tracking. It collects no browsing history and no analytics.
Failure counts. When a move fails because a Sleeper or ESPN page looked different than expected, the Draftsnake app counts the kind of failure (a short code — no player, league, or account attached) so we can fix it.
Disconnecting. Remove the extension from your browser and it stops reading anything. To delete the ESPN cookies we've stored, email us (see below).

Deleting your account

Email hello@draftsnake.ai from your account address and we'll delete your account, connected-platform credentials, saved leagues and preferences, and push subscriptions. Billing records are retained by Stripe as required for tax and accounting purposes.
